# Announcing Octez v23.0~rc2

**Octez v23.0~rc2** has just been published !

This is **the second release candidate for Octez v23.0**. If this release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 23.0.

This second release candidate fixes:

- Tz4 high watermark handling by the signer
- Snapshot import backward compatibility
- Silent nodes and clients configurations errors

It also includes all features from v23’s [first release candidate](https://forum.tezosagora.org/t/announcing-octez-v23-0-rc1/6817):

- Support of the [Seoul Protocol proposal](https://research-development.nomadic-labs.com/seoul-announcement.html)
- Release of the octez-baker executable
- BLS support
- New snapshot version

The Git tag is `octez-v23.0-rc2` and the corresponding commit hash is `4e3e225`.
