# Octez version 25.2 has just been released!

Octez version 25.2 hardens the Octez node against security threats and improves its robustness by:

- introducing stricter validation that rejects ill-formed operations before they are applied

- strengthening Micheline parsing to early reject too deeply nested values

- improving DAL node robustness and resilience

This release also includes several minor improvements to the robustness of the L1 node.

We recommend that all node operators and bakers upgrade promptly.
