A new release candidate of Octez (11.0~rc1) is available. If this release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 11.0.
We invite you to test this release candidate, for instance on the Granadanet test network, and to report any issue on Issues · Tezos / tezos · GitLab so that they can be fixed before the release.
This release candidate contains a new version (V3) of the protocol environment, which is the set of functions that protocols can call. This new version is used by protocol Hangzhou, which is a proposal for the successor of Granada (see announcement: https://marigold.dev/blog/announcing-hangzhou). This release candidate also contains Hangzhou itself as well as its daemons (baker, endorser and accuser). It also contains the configuration for Hangzhounet, a test network that will run Hangzhou.
Full changelog and update instructions are available in the version 11 release page: Version 11.0~rc1 — Tezos (master branch, 2021/09/22 10:02) documentation
