# Releasing version 9.5 of Octez

Version 9.5 of Octez has just been released. This version fixes a bug that could result in a corrupted storage and in assert failure errors.

The Git tag for this release is `v9.5` and the corresponding commit hash is `568ffb084a0e81af8bb819e19e8fbaadf63cd8df` . Branch `latest-release` now points to this new tag.
