LB IMO is essential for XTZ, this is the only liquid DEFI that can take large transactions without penalty. I would even remove the burning of part of the fee. IMO it is needed, I failed to get it when it was proposed, I get it now. To be honest without it I would have left the Tezos echo system, bought from IPOP and I should have kept the BTC, the only saving grace was the LB to trade tzBTC to protect the funds.
