Improving operations and participations within the community: effective and futureproof ideas

Greetings,

This discussion is a spin-off from earlier debates in the official Tezos Discord regarding the falling value of XTZ and subsequently Tezos blockchain from fairly above $4 to barely $0.42 (down 90% or more) currently. The idea, however, is centered around developing a more cost-effective way of improving operations and participations within the community, thus strengthening the market value increasingly.

In my opinion: there should be more efforts to promote advocacy or ambassadorial opportunities within the community and maybe even include college-led incentives like campus ambassadorship. Many other platforms have exploited this avenue to really improve both their technical offerings and market value. Additionally, already existing campaigns and incentives should be well published and easy to find.

Feel free to chime in.

Can you go into more detail about what other platforms do?

It’s been a minute…. To answer your question, I did a little research and found some exciting stories on these current offerings:

  • Binance Academy Student Ambassador Program by Binance
  • Bybit Africa Campus Ambassadors Program by Bybit, and
  • Solana University Program by Solana

I’m not saying any of these are a perfect solution strategy, but feel free to peruse some related web resources for insights and overviews as to what could work. Thanks.
