Today, we are incredibly proud to announce the release of “WRISTORY: Ascending Spirit” on fxhash. This project is a deeply philosophical exploration of historical preservation, leveraging the immutable nature of the Tezos blockchain to eternalize the Korean independence movement.
The Art & The Algorithm
Written entirely in p5.js and GLSL, “Ascending Spirit” visually translates 36 years of historical hardship into pure abstract expressionism. The algorithm utilizes Perlin noise fields to simulate the dark turbulence of oppression. As time progresses within the sketch, scattered “courage particles” defy this chaotic flow, driven by a mathematically coded central gravity that condenses them into a radiant, golden vortex.
A unique feature of this project is the drying mechanism: after precisely 700 frames (approx. 12 seconds), noLoop() is triggered alongside the fxpreview() module, turning a dynamic simulation into a permanently fixed, heavily textured digital oil painting.
Tokenomics & Heritage
To commemorate the 81st anniversary of Korea’s liberation, the collection is strictly limited to 81 editions. Furthermore, we have seamlessly integrated our ecosystem’s Art Coin into the minting process, merging the preservation of digital heritage with dynamic Web3 tokenomics.
