Octez v22.0~rc3 has been published

:mega: Octez v22.0~rc3 has just been published!

This is the third release candidate for Octez v22.0. If this release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 22.0.

Octez v22.0~rc3 fixes a bug in the rollup node outbox RPCs where an outbox message could be incorrectly classified as lost while it is still executable.

For operators whose nodes also execute outbox messages, this means that the rollup node could fail to execute them if it was down for longer than 3 hours.

For users that rely on the /local/outbox/pending/* RPC endpoints, there could be missing executable messages.

It also includes all features from v22’s first release candidate:

  • Support of the Rio Protocol proposal
  • The baker requires an endpoint of a running DAL node or the --without-dal option
  • The default history mode is now Rolling instead of Full. to start.
  • New experimental agnostic baker executable.
  • Release of the new Debian and RPM packages.

A full changelog and update instructions are available in the version 22 release page.

The Git tag is octez-v22.0-rc3 and the corresponding commit hash is f7910bd0.
