A new release candidate of Octez (13.0~rc1) is available. If this release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 13.0.
We invite you to test this release candidate, for instance on the Ithacanet test network, and to report any issue on Issues · Tezos / tezos · GitLab so that they can be fixed before the release.
This release candidate contains a new version (V5) of the protocol environment, which is the set of functions that protocols can call. This new version is used by protocol Jakarta 2, which is a proposal for the successor of Ithaca.
This release candidate also contains Jakarta 2 itself as well as its daemons.
