A new release candidate of Octez (11.0~rc2) is available.
This release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 11.0.This version contains a user-activated protocol override for Mainnet that tells the node to use Hangzhou2 instead of Hangzhou, if Hangzhou were to be activated. Hangzhou contains a number of critical bugs that are fixed in Hangzhou2. Version 11.0~rc2 also comes with Hangzhou2 and its baker, endorser and accuser.
This release candidate also introduces a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. In particular it contains the bug fixes that were introduced in version 10.3 and it improves the time it would take to activate Hangzhou.
We invite you to test this release candidate, for instance on the Granadanet or Hangzhounet test networks, and to report any issue on Issues · Tezos / tezos · GitLab so that they can be fixed before the release.
