A new release candidate (9.0~rc1) is available. If this release candidate proves to be stable, it will be released as version 9.0.
This release candidate contains a new protocol environment (V2) which is required by Florence, the current protocol proposal. It also contains Florence itself as well as its daemons (baker, endorser and accuser), and the configuration to join Florencenet, a test network for Florence.
We invite you to test this release candidate, for instance on the Florencenet test network, and to report any issue on Issues · Tezos / tezos · GitLab so that they can be fixed before the release.
